More motorists are expected to hit the roads this Memorial Day weekend.
According to Triple A, a one-point-two percent increase is expected on roads in the region.
Senior Vice President of Public Affairs for Triple A, Micheal Right, says there are several things you should check on your vehicle before heading out.

Right says lodging prices are up over last year. However, he says gas prices are down.

According to Triple A, in Missouri you will find even lower gasoline prices with an average of 3.39 a gallon, down almost 30 cents from this time last year.
