There’s a vacancy on the Highland Community College Board of Trustees.
The vacancy was created by the recent resignation of board member Russell Karn of Highland.
Karn had served on the board since 1995.
The board will now appoint someone to fill his unexpired term, which amounts to three years.
Those interested in filling the position or with questions are asked to contact Eileen Gronniger at the college at 785-442-6010 or email her egronniger@highlandcc.edu.
The Board of Trustees consists of six members who serve four-year terms, with three members elected every two years.
