Sac and Fox Chief of Police Kirby Robidoux says smoke was noticed coming out a warehouse behind the casino located along U.S. 75 highway around 11 o’clock Wednesday night.
Robidoux says firefighters and EMS from several agencies responded and fought the fire throughout the night and early morning.
Firefighters remained on the scene this ( Thursday ) morning.
Robidoux says one firefighter was transported to the Horton Hospital and then later transferred to a Topeka hospital.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by the State Fire Marshall.
The cause of a fire at the Sac and Fox Casino south of Fairview remains under investigation.
