A 21-year-old Huron man will serve over five years in prison on multiple counts related to several incidents over the past several months.
Jacob Clem was sentenced to 64 months in prison Friday in Atchison County District Court.
Judge Martin Asher gave Clem 32 months on a charge of aggravated assault and another 32 months for burglary.
In the agg assault case, Clem was charged with firing shots at a car on North Seventh Street January 29th.
In the burglary case, Clem was convicted of breaking into a residence on 10th street on March 8th.
Clem was also sentenced to 6 months in prison for conspiracy to commit burglary, 16 months for interference with a law enforcement officer, one year in jail for criminal restraint, one year in jail for criminal damage to property, one year each for six counts of giving a worthless check, and six months for domestic battery.
He also had probation from a previous case revoked and was ordered to serve the remainder of that term.
Those sentences will run concurrent to the 64 months and were from related and separate incidents dating back to the summer of 2011.
