Bomb Threat Confirmed At Wathena School
Students are evacuated, but safe, following a reported bomb threat occurring on the west campus of Doniphan County's Riverside School District.
Student were removed from the Wathena school around noon, following discovery of the threat, reportedly written as a note.
KQ2 News is reporting that students were bussed to area churches while authorities locked down the school to investigate.
There's no word of the discovery of any type of explosive.
Doniphan County authorities are continuing to investigate.
The Sheriff's office indicates that more details will be released later this afternoon.
