As the old saying goes, “all politics is local,” and every decision made at the Kansas Statehouse affects all Kansans; from the local, rural communities to the large urban areas of the state.
This Saturday, those issues come to the local area, as two state lawmakers bring the matters of Topeka to City Hall in Horton.
Senator Dennis Pyle and Representative Randy Garber, both Republicans, will be in attendance at the morning legislative coffee; an informal way to allow local constituents to hear first hand, and to question personally, decisions being made at the State Capitol.
The session is planned to run from 9 until 10:00 Saturday morning, and the public is invited to attend at Horton City Hall.
