Keadle Rape Trial Wrapping Up in Fremont
The trial of a man charged with raping a teenager in Fremont in 2008 is wrapping up with closing arguments.
The Fremont Tribune reports the jury will begin considering the first degree sexual assault of a minor case against Joshua Keadle today.
Keadle is accused of having sex with a 15-year-old girl at a
residence hall at what was then Midland Lutheran College. The girl
testified she had sex with another man that night, but did not
consent to sex with Keadle.
Keadle's lawyer argued the 30-year-old couldn't have had sex
with the girl because he was suffering from erectile dysfunction.
Keadle remains a person of interest in the December 2010
disappearance of a Peru State College student, Tyler Thomas. No
charges have been filed in that case.
