His leadership extended to the finance and education sectors, where he was active on the finance council of Sts. Peter & Paul Parish, Sts Peter & Paul School, and the Seneca Library.
In his retirement Paul enjoyed various pastimes. Paul enjoyed golfing and was passionate about genealogy. Paul and Marilyn traveled often, spending time in Lake Tahoe and Cape Coral; and taking cruises to locations such as Australia, New Zealand and the Greek Isles. When not traveling, Paul also enjoyed cooking, grilling and experimenting with new recipes. He enjoyed watching history documentaries, reading western and various non-fiction books.
