Peru State hosts Feeding 44, a traveling food bank, on the first Fridays of each month 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Volunteers from the college and community assist with the mobile food distribution, supporting neighbors across southeast Nebraska. Signs will be posted to direct traffic

Horton First Christian Church is hosting a free will donation dinner on Sunday, April 26^th from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. We will be serving 2 menu options of Smoke Pulled Pork Sandwich, potato salad, baked beans or an All-Beef Hotdog, chips & a cookie. All proceeds will go towards the Mission Lake Christian Camp. This will be a drive through event located at the Horton Christian Church 1244 Central Ave in Horton.

The Best Life Community Services will be discontinuing their Can Recycling Service.  Their trailer is full, we will no longer be running the recycling service. We want to thank all our customers for their support through the years.
