The Sugar Creek Ladies Aid Hall, Open House on Memorial Day Weekend, Saturday, Sunday & Monday May 23rd, 24th & 25th. They will have Sandwich, dessert & beverage for purchase during the hours of 11am until 2pm. There will be a few Country Store items;  along with their commemorative booklet & cookbook available for purchase as well. They will have a quilt on display over the weekend that will be drawn for at the Annual Turkey supper on Saturday November 7th, a raffle ticket is $1 or 6 tickets for $5. Monday the 25th around 10:30am will be a Military service in honor of our Veterans.

Powhattan Fire & Rescue Benefit Pancake Feed will be held on Memorial Sunday, May 24^th  from 7am until 1p.m. at 123 Commercial Street in Powhattan. They will be serving pancakes, sausage, biscuits & gravy, eggs and more for free will donation!! Come out and support the Powhattan Fire & Rescue Department.

Horton Veterans Museum will be open Memorial Day Weekend on Saturday, May 23rd from Sunday May 24^th & Monday May 25^th, 1pm until 5 p.m. There will be guided tours by Connie & Mistie. Also will have a Special Exhibit next door, free ~ Model Train Display at the Pop-Up Shop. Come to the Horton Veterans Museum located at 845 Central Avenue in Horton on May 23^rd through May 25th!
