Horton Recreation proudly presents Summer Slam an Independence Day Celebration to be held on Friday July 3^rd starting at 5pm at the Hickory Point – Mission Lake in Horton. Doubles Volleyball tournament $20 entry fee, Cornhole Tournament $30 entry fee, several activities and Pulled Pork Dinner for Free Will donation with Firework Display to follow the fun!

A Community Ice Cream Social hosted by Zion Lutheran Church-Hiawatha in conjunction with the Hiawatha Fireworks will be held in the church parking lot beginning at 7 pm on July 3. At 7:30 pm the Harmony Hill Family (aka Matt Kleopfer Family) will perform on our flatbed trailer stage. Free will donation. BRING YOUR OWN LAWN CHAIRS

A Community Ice Cream Social will be hosted by Zion Lutheran Church in Hiawatha. The free will donation event will take place Friday, July 3 from 7 – 10 pm in the church parking lot at 613 S First Street, Hiawatha. Join them for a celebration of America 250 with ice cream from the Hiawatha Creamery, live music, and fireworks.
