On Friday of this week, the Morrill Public Library invites area seniors to Senior Socials from 1 to 4 p.m. in the library's large meeting room.

Enjoy an afternoon of games, snacks, conversation, and friendship in a welcoming atmosphere.

Senior Socials are held on the first and third Fridays of each month at the Morrill Public Library. We hope to see you there!

July 17th at 10 am Glacial Hills in Sabetha, Kansas, is hosting local poet and army veteran Thaddeus Dugan for a live poetry reading. Coffee and pastries for a donation. Then at 2pm Jack Geiger our Independent candidate running for Kansas House of Representative in the 62nd district is planning to speak. The 62nd district is Brown and Nemaha counties along with parts of Jackson and Atchison counties. Take some time and come listen to what Jack has to say. There will be a question-and-answer segment at 4pm, with Jack at Glacial Hills. Sunflower Kitchen will be set up from 11 to 5 for your supper or dinner needs.
