The local community has organized a craft and bake sale on Saturdays from 9am to 12pm. The event will begin July 4, and will run every Saturday through August 15. Casino White Cloud is graciously allowing us to set up in the Bingo Hall. Vendors are welcome and there is no charge to set up. Stop by each Saturday to play some games and shop local.

Brownville is celebrating artists, galleries, studios, and public art on Saturday, August 15, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Brownville Village Art Walk. Visitors will enjoy original paintings, glass, jewelry, fiber, metal, naturals, pottery, wooden art, and more from area artists. They will be showing and selling their work throughout the village with several located in the Antiquarium at 309 Water Street and the Opera House on Main Street. Brownville Fine Arts Association and Brownville Education Center for Arts and Humanities have been working together to start an annual event for guests to enjoy a wide variety of art from Southeast Nebraska artists, visit with artists about their work, experience art studios, and view public art. Stop by the Schoolhouse Gallery at 427 Main Street to pick up information about all the locations, places to eat, and more opportunities for visitors or call 402-414-2082.
