Morrill Public Library Thursday Events

Storytime begins at 10:30 a.m. and features stories, songs, and activities designed for preschool-aged children in a fun and engaging setting.

Humboldt Blood Drive

A Scholarship Blood Drive is being sponsored by the Humboldt Community and HTRS and will be held Wednesday, Aug 12 11 am to 5 pm at the Richardson County Ag Building in Humboldt

Brownville Art Show

From 8:00AM to 5:00PM

An art show titled Prairie Echos with artists Kevin Callahan and Marti Dodge will be held July 30th through August 30th at the Schoolhouse Art Gallery in Brownville. 

 

A reception will be held Friday, July 31st at 6 PM

Falls City Fishing Contest

From 4:00PM to 7:00PM

The Falls City Volunteer Fire Department will host their annual Fishing Contest Thursday, Aug 20 at Stanton Lake in Falls City. Registration is 4-5 and fishing is 5-7

The FCPD will be serving hot dogs and soda during the contest.

Conducting Genealogical Research at the Kansas State Historical Society Archives

From 7:00PM to 9:00PM

Monthly meeting of the Brown County Genealogical Society will host Adam Hodge, Ph.D., Head of Reference with the Kansas State Historical Society as he presents "Conducting Genealogical Research at the Kansas State Historical Society Archives." This will be a program for anyone interested or has been researching their family history. Everyone is welcome to attend!
