Morrill Public Library Tuesday Events

On Tuesday of this week, the Morrill Public Library Quilters Club meets at 2 p.m. in the library's large meeting room.

Bring your current quilting project, share ideas, and enjoy an afternoon of creativity and fellowship with fellow quilters.

The Quilters Club meets on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at the Morrill Public Library.

Veteran Service Officer for Brown County

Beginning immediately and until further notice the state Veteran Service Officer for Brown County will no longer be meeting for in person conferences at Homer White American Legion Post 66 in Hiawatha. Veterans needing assistance should call 785-338-2848.  This number will connect you with a Veteran Service Officer who will be able to answer and assist you with any questions you may have.

Valley Falls Community Foundation Match Day

The Valley Falls Community Foundation Match Day campaign kicked off on August 23rd!

 

Support your favorite local cause through the foundation’s 50-plus funds, then join us for Match Day on Saturday, September 19th, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the 4-H Grounds during Grasshopper Falls Day.

 

Donation forms are available at the Delaware Township Library or through participating funds.

Peru State College Feeding 44 Food Drives

From 11:00AM to 12:00PM

Peru State hosts Feeding 44, a traveling food bank, on the first Fridays of each month 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Volunteers from the college and community assist with the mobile food distribution, supporting neighbors across southeast Nebraska. Signs will be posted to direct traffic
