Falls City Sacred Heart School is looking for volunteers to help with its Husker Seatback Project, which raises money for the school. Volunteers will distribute seatbacks before the game and collect them afterward.
For the first game on Saturday, September 5, the bus will leave at 6:15 a.m. for the 11 a.m. kickoff. Volunteers who ride the bus will receive free admission to the stadium and may enjoy the game after completing their seatback duties.
Each volunteer earns $125 for Sacred Heart School. The goal is to fill all 57 seats on the bus.
Volunteers should wear Husker attire and closed-toe shoes. Those driving separately should check in at Gate 18.
Last year, the project raised nearly $70,000 for Sacred Heart School, helping fund the Tiehen Renovation and school building soffit installation.
