Morrill Public Library Monday Events

On Monday of this week, the Morrill Public Library has something for all ages!

Toddler Storytime begins at 10:30 a.m., and the Knitting Club meets at 6 p.m.

On the second Monday of the month, the Diverse Voices Book Club will meet at 6 p.m. in the library's large meeting room and on the third Monday, the Evening Book Club will also meet at 6 p.m. in the large meeting room.

Valley Falls Community Foundation Match Day

The Valley Falls Community Foundation Match Day campaign kicked off on August 23rd!

 

Support your favorite local cause through the foundation’s 50-plus funds, then join us for Match Day on Saturday, September 19th, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the 4-H Grounds during Grasshopper Falls Day.

 

Donation forms are available at the Delaware Township Library or through participating funds.

Labor Day Breakfast in Ozawkie

From 7:00AM to 12:00PM

The Ozawkie American Legion Post 225 invites everyone to enjoy an all-you-can-eat breakfast on Saturday, September 5th, Sunday, September 6th, and Monday, September 7th, from 7 a.m. to noon each day.

 

American Legion Legionnaires, Sons of American Legion & Ladies Auxiliary will be serving Breakfast which includes scrambled eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, pancakes, biscuits and gravy.

 

Adults: $12 | Kids 5–12: $5 | Under 5: Free

 

The public is welcome! This is a fundraiser, with proceeds supporting veterans, their families, and community programs.

Northeast Kansas Annual Tractor Cruise in Everest

From 8:30AM to 2:00PM

Rev up for a great cause at the Northeast Kansas Annual Tractor Cruise, Monday, September 7th, at Everest Middle School in Everest, Kansas!

 

Registration runs from 8:30 to 10:15 a.m., with tractors leaving the school at 10:30.

 

The cost is $40 per tractor, with funds raised benefiting the Angelman Syndrome Foundation.
