(KAIR)--An undercover investigation lands one Atchison man behind bars.
“Atchison Police Department as well as the Kansas Bureau of Investigation had an undercover investigation that expanded over a period of several years dating back to 2012,” said Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson.
He says 44-year-old Charles Young is now facing charges related back to 2012 including: distribution of cocaine, use of a telecommunication facility to facilitate a controlled substance transaction and no drug tax stamp.
“That was one of a number uncover cases that we made over a several year period of time,” Wilson said. “In his case, it focuses on a case that was centered around the sale of cocaine in the LFM Park area.”
He was booked into the Atchison County Jail where he remains held without bond.
