(KAIR)--A man is dead, and one person is in custody, following a fatal Buchanan County shooting Sunday night.

KQ2 TV reports the body of the 75-year-old victim was discovered shortly before 11:00, at a home just south of Saint Joseph, located on Southeast McQueen Road near State Highway A.

A 23-year-old suspect was apprehended in DeKalb County, and is considered by authorities to be the only suspect in the case.
