(KAIR)--An investigation is launched, and a suspect developed, following the theft of items from property located in Atchison County.
Sheriff Jack Laurie says the theft involved a trailer, two stainless steel industrial refrigerator doors, and a diamond plate truck bed tool box.
The report of the theft was made to the Sheriff's Office by county resident Jerome Bratton on Monday, with the crime occurring on his property at 6455 Rawlins Road.
According to Laurie, the trailer was recovered by authorities in Buchanan County, Missouri. There's no word regarding the whereabouts of the other items.
Laurie says investigators have a suspect in the case, but the name is not immediately made public, as the investigation continues.
