(KAIR)--An investigation is launched following the report of a missing trailer from an Atchison resident.

“On Oct. 15 at approximately 4:30, Joshua Ostertag reported the theft of a trailer,” said Atchison Police Lieutenant Tim Stout. “Ostertag reported that his trailer had been parked at business located at the 1400 block of Main Street when the theft had occurred.”

Stout says the theft occurred sometime on Oct. 13.th

The trailer is black with a steel-mesh loading gate.

Stout said the investigation is ongoing with no suspects at this time. Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
