(KNZA)--A rural Hiawatha man is facing charges following the discovery of an alleged indoor marijuana growing operation.

Based on an investigation, Brown County Sheriff John Merchant says  the sheriff’s office executed a search warrant last Thursday at 2368 Goldfinch Road.

Merchant says 26-year-old Jebediah Moore was arrested on charges of cultivation of marijuana and possession of marijuana.

Seized were less than 50 marijuana plants.

Moore is currently free on bond.
