(KLZA)--The Pawnee City Council spent a portion of their meeting time discussing a nuisance property when they met Monday evening. 

Bruce Hansher and Yvette Ward who live next to a house at 439 F Street,  presented pictures of the property, pictures of rats and cockroaches that have allegedly come to their home from the house at 439 F Street. They also presented a petition signed by neighbors asking the something be done about the property. They also complained of a foul odor from the property.

Since the home is currently occupied, there is little the city can do. It was noted that efforts have been made recently to clean up trash and debris outside the home.
