Employees of Smith Bits attended an early-morning Mobility Strategy Session this morning to learn more about their transfers to Houston.

Representatives of the relocation team explained what benefits would be available for house-hunting trips to the Houston area, the company relocation allowance, lease cancellation assistance, an allowance for a return trip home to Ponca City and the enroute trip from Ponca City to Houston.

The parent company, Schlumberger, will provide van line services and affiliated dual career assistance to help spouses find new jobs in Houston.

The relocation team also provided community information for the employees making the transition.

Individual meetings also will be held with employees.
