(KNZA)--A Highland teen face charges following a short pursuit.

Brown County Sheriff John Merchant says the pursuit began Sunday in Brown County after a deputy attempted to stop a vehicle for speeding in the eastern portion of the county and ended in Doniphan County.

Merchant says 17-year-old Lane Olson faces charges of fleeing and attempting to elude, child endangerment, reckless driving, expired tags and speeding.

No injuries were reported.

Assisting were the Doniphan County Sheriff’s Department, Highland Police Department and Sac and Fox Tribal Police Department.
