Wow, what an amazing week we are going to have. This week we have not one, but three, ribbon cutting ceremonies.

The first one is Thursday at 9 a.m. for Kristan’s Kids, located at 1105 N. First Street. Then on Friday we will have two ribbon cutting ceremonies. The first one at 10 a.m. for the new Ponca City Nutrition located at 215 E. Grand Avenue and then at 2 p.m. for Henson Jiu Jitsu located at 103 E. Grand Avenue.

This year the Chamber has had 37 ribbon cutting ceremonies. This is the most in one year since I have been here. This is very exciting for Ponca City. This shows a lot of investment in our community and the creation of more jobs for our citizens.

Our Leadership Class will have a session on Civic and Human Resources on Wednesday. Our day chair is the United Way of Ponca City Director Melissa Young. She does an amazing job with this very important session.
