A personal injury collision occurred at 8:28 p.m. Sunday on North Avenue and “P” Street, about three miles east of Tonkawa, in Kay County.

Ronald Marler, 68, of Tonkawa was riding at 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle westbound on North Avenue when a deer crossed his path. Marler was separated from the motorcycle for about 150 feet.

He was transported by Tonkawa Fire Department to Alliance Health in Ponca City, where he was admitted in stable condition with leg and trunk injuries.
