The Ponca Playhouse is having a costume and dress sale this Saturday, Sept. 24.

Evening and wedding dresses and costumes, including hats and gloves, will be on sale.

This is the first of two sales to clear out room for more rentable costumes for holidays and parties. The next sale will be Saturday, Oct. 8, and will include great Halloween costume ideas.

Volunteers will be available to take requests for specialty costumes.

All proceeds will support the Ponca Playhouse, a community theatre 501(c)3.

Auditions for "To Kill a Mockingbird" are at 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 26 and 27, at the Ponca Playhouse, 301 South First Street.

Jeri Seefeldt is directing. A cast of 20 is needed, including men, women and children of diverse ethnicity.
