The Creek County Sheriff's Office requested assistance from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation with a homicide at 9224 S. 417th West Avenue, Mannford.

Outside his home at that location Ronald "Rocky" Bethel, 61, was shot and killed at approximately 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.

OSBI special agents are interviewing numerous individuals in the area as OSBI crime scene agents document the scene and collect evidence.
