(KAIR)--No school today for the students of USD 341.

The unexpected day off at the Oskaloosa Public Schools follows an early morning accident that left the school district without power.

According to the Superintendent's Office, the outage happened when a milk delivery truck became entangled with the wires connected to an electrical transformer.

Repair work is underway, and is anticipated to be completed by late Monday afternoon.

No one was hurt in the accident, which happened around 5:30 Monday morning.
