Tishomingo teacher arrested Friday morning

At approximately 9:30 a.m. Friday, special agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation arrested a Tishomingo school teacher.

The teacher, who worked at the alternative school in Tishomingo, is alleged to have had inappropriate contact with a child.

On Monday, the Tishomingo Police Department requested OSBI investigate an allegation that teacher Shelly Jo Duncan (born May 29, 1968) was having inappropriate contact with a male student.

OSBI special agents conducted interviews and collected evidence in the case.

This morning, special agents arrested Duncan in the parking lot of the alternative school. She is being booked into the Johnston County jail on a complaint of lewd or indecent proposals or acts with a child under 16.
