(KLZA)-- The Southeast interchange project will continue during the Apple Jack Festival this weekend, according to the Nebraska Department of Roads.
Constructors, Inc. of Lincoln, Nebraska, has the $24.42 million contract for the project which consists of constructing a new elevated interchange, with Nebraska 2 elevated over US-75.
Construction operations are necessary during the festival weekend due to weather and phasing commitments. Traffic will be maintained at all times on US-75, Nebraska 2 and 11th Street in Nebraska City.
Flaggers may be used during the new ramp construction on the northeast quadrant of the project and on 11th street during paving operations.
