(KLZA)-- Nemaha County Nebraska Commissioners conducted hearings concerning the 2016-17 fiscal year budget when they met September 7th. 

Following the hearings, which drew no public comment, Commissioners adopted a resolution to increase the base limitation percentage by the one percent allowed by state law; approved a budget of nearly $3,381,000, a decrease of more than $18,000; the Board also se the tax levy for Nemaha County at just over 29.4 cents per $100 of assessed valuation.
