(KNZA)--The ribbon-cutting and public open house for the new Holton Elementary School has been pushed back.

The event, which had been scheduled for Sunday, has been rescheduled for October 23rd.

The decision to reschedule the event came after the Holton Board of Education received a progress report at this week’s meeting from the contractor indicting there is still a few weeks of finish work to go.
