The Ponca City Epilepsy Support Group is sponsoring a 5K Run/Fun Walk on Sept. 24 to raise money for the Oklahoma Epilepsy Foundation and  the Mollie Kelly Memorial Scholarship fund. 

Sponsors expect at least 150 participants at the event, which will be held at Lake Ponca.

Some of the proceeds from the event will be used to help young children attend an epilepsy camp at Camp Cavett, seizure medication assistance and provide material for people with epilepsy. All donations will stay in Oklahoma to help the people of Oklahoma.

Mollie Kelly was lost to SUDEP in 2015 while pursuing higher education in music.
