(KAIR)--A jury trial is scheduled for the man arrested in connection with a stabbing at a local park.

20-year-old Jacob Reynolds faces charges of aggravated battery and criminal damage to property after Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson says he attacked another 19-year-old man with a knife at Atchison’s Jackson Park back in May.

Wilson said the victim was transported to a Saint Joseph hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Reynolds will face a jury on Nov. 22nd in Atchison County District Court.
