(KNZA)--The boil water advisory for the Brown County community of Reserve has been lifted.
The advisory was issued September 2nd by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment because of the loss of pressure due to the a water main break.
KDHE said Friday that laboratory testing samples from Reserve’s public water supply indicate no evidence of contamination and all other conditions that placed the system at risk of contamination are deemed by agency officials to be resolved.
As a result, customers no longer need to boil the water they use for drinking and food preparation prior to use.
