OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - A 3.8 magnitude earthquake has rattled part of central Oklahoma.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was recorded at 9:06 p.m. Thursday near the city of Spencer, which is northwest of Oklahoma City.
No damage or injuries were immediately reported.
The quake comes less than a week after a 5.8 magnitude earthquake centered in northeast Oklahoma caused at least one injury and damaged more than a dozen buildings.
Three smaller quakes struck northern Oklahoma earlier Thursday afternoon in less than a 10-minute time frame.
Between 4:29 and 4:38 p.m. Thursday, earthquakes were recorded with a magnitude of 3.6 near Perry, 3.0 near Stillwater, and 2.9 near Stillwater.
Another 3.0 was recorded near Perry at 7:21 p.m. Thursday.
This morning, a 2.8 magnitude quake was recorded near Winfield, Kan., at 5:49 a.m.
