The Ponca City Junior Rifle Club will hold a basic rifle marksmanship and safety course for boys and girls ages 12-18.

The class will be held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. each Tuesday from Sept. 13 to Nov. 15.

The 25-hour course will teach and develop the attitude, skill and knowledge necessary to handle and shoot a rifle safely and accurately, course instructors said.

All instructors are NRA certified.

A $35 fee will cover all equipment and materials needed for the course.
