(KLZA)-- A Falls City woman is awaiting a preliminary hearing in Richardson County Court on charges of sexual assault and sending obscene literature to a minor.

Falls City Assistant Police Chief Jamie Baker says he arrested 20-year-old Anissa Carter Tuesday. 

Baker says an investigation began after an informant told the Falls City Police Department Carter was having sex with a 15-year old. 

During the course of the investigation it was discovered that Carter allegedly sent the minor nude photos using a cell phone.

Carter was booked into the Richardson County Jail. She is expected to appear in Richardson County Court Monday.
