Changes Approved for Appraiser's Schedule

(KNZA)--Brown County Appraiser Jeff Ball will work a modified work schedule through the end of the year.

The Brown County Commission Tuesday approved Ball’s request to adjust his work schedule.

One week, he will work four,10 hour days and the next week he will work five, eight hours days.

Starting January 1st, Ball will go to a set schedule of five, eight hour days.

Ball also discussed with Commissioners a letter received from the state Division of Property Valuation.  The letter stated the county appraiser’s office has met the statistical performance standards established for the commercial/industrial class of property.  However, the residential property class did not meet the requirements for appraisal uniformity.

Ball says staff from the Property Valuation Division will be coming to Brown County to work with him on bringing the county back into compliance.
