(KLZA)-- The Tecumseh State Correctional Institution remains on modified operations following a partial lockdown last Friday.

According to a release from Communications Director Dawn-Renee Smith, the Warden and his team have evaluated the information and determined the facility will remain in modified operations. 

There will be no visitations on Wednesday and visitors are encouraged to call the facility prior to driving there for visiting.

The administration will evaluate the need for continued modified operations on Thursday. Staff and inmate safety is a priority and a decision on returning to normal operations will be made with safety in mind.
