(KNZA)--A two-vehicle collision in northwest Missouri Wednesday afternoon left two dead.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash happened on Highway F in Nodaway County about two miles east of Maryville shortly before 4:30.
The Patrol says 47-year-old Maryville resident Kristy Lake was southbound when her car crossed the center line and struck a northbound car driven by 83-year-old Conception Junction resident Thomas Strueby head-on.
Lake and Strueby were both pronounced dead at the scene.
The Patrol says neither driver was wearing a seatbelt and were the lone occupants in their vehicles.
