(KMZA)--The arraignment for a Sabetha man charged in connection with a five-hour armed standoff in Sabetha in March has been pushed back.

The arraignment for 50-year-old James McKenney had been scheduled for Monday in Nemaha County District Court, but the Nemaha County Attorney’s office says it was continued to the morning of September 15th.

McKenney is charged with aggravated assault, two counts of criminal threat, interference with law enforcement, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He remains in the Nemaha County Jail, held on a $250,000 bond.
