(KNZA)--A single-vehicle northwest Missouri crash early Tuesday morning left a St. Joseph woman injured.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 34-year-old Jennifer Demaranville was southbound on Route DD about 4 miles south of Savannah when she lost control of her car, which skidded off the roadway and hit an embankment around 1:20.

Demaranville was transported by ambulance to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph with what the Patrol described as serious injuries.
