(KMZA)--A Bern man has been arrested on a charge of abuse of a child.

26-year-old Joshua Lockhart was arrested Saturday following an investigation by the Nemaha County Sheriff’s Department and booked into the Nemaha County Jail.

Lockhart was released Sunday on a $5,000 surety bond and is to appear in a Nemaha County courtroom on September 27th.
