(KAIR)--Serious but stable condition.

That's the report regarding the victim of what WIBW-AM identifies as a shooting near Perry.

The man, whose name is not made public, was transported to Saint Francis Health Center around 11:00 Wednesday night.

No other details regarding the shooting have immediately been released.

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is investigating the apparent shooting.
Sheriff Jeff Herrig has not been available to comment on the case to MSC News.
