(KNZA)--An August 17th preliminary hearing has been set for a Horton woman facing a charge of aggravated assault.

23-year-old Bailey Walker made her first appearance in a Brown County courtroom Monday on the felony charge.

According to the criminal complaint, Walker is accused of assaulting Maurice Thompson with a vehicle.   

Its not known if Thompson was injured as authorities have been unavailable to comment.

Walker was arrested last Friday by the Horton Police Department.

She posted bond Monday after a judge granted a bond modification to a $5,000 O.R. bond.
