(KLZA)-- The Northwest Missouri Regional Council of Governments will sponsor a Holt County, Missouri Hazard Mitigation Plan meeting Tuesday, August 16th at City Hall in Mound City. 

The 6 o’clock meeting is to discuss updates and improvements tot he existing Holt County Mitigation Plan, which is required by FEMA.

The Regional Council of Governments, on behalf of the jurisdictions of Holt County is partnering with the Holt County Commission to update the plan.
