(KNZA)--Probation has been granted in a Doniphan County child sex case.

25-year-old Cameron, Missouri resident Michael Anthony West was given a 43-month suspended prison sentence last week in Doniphan County District Court on a charge of aggravated indecent liberties with a child and placed on 36-months supervised probation.

West had pleaded no contest to the felony charge in June.

He was charged in connection with an alleged sex offense in March of last year involving a child under the age of 14.
